Criminal Masters in Advocacy 2022
The Rule-Out Method: Forcing the State to Eliminate All Possible Reasonable Doubts - In- PERSON
The Rule-Out method is an easily mastered, thoroughly tested, innovative trial strategy criminal defense approach that blocks the large majority of trial convictions. It works in part by the way it gets jurors to personally want to decide based only on reasonable doubts, partly by preventing the major defense error that alone accounts for over 80% of all convictions. Rule-Out is based on more than 20 years of face-to-face post-trial juror interviews, interviews with jury-eligible citizens, focus -groups and real trial testing and substantial 21st century neuroscience research including Nation Foundation-funded research at Duke's Institute for Brain Sciences with David Ball and partner Artemis Malekpour among its researchers.
This program is part lecture and part demonstration, and features David Ball (presenting virtually), Roger Dodd (presenting virtually), Artemis Malekpour, Emilia Beskind and N.C. Superior Court Judges, Josephine Kerr Davis, Alyson Grine, Shannon Tucker and Gregory A. Weeks. Register Today!
Registration includes seminar materials (in electronic format) and 6.25 CLE hours.
Please note you are registering to attend in person at NCAJ Headquarters located at 701 Corporate Center Dr, Ste 450 Raleigh.
