Camp Lejeune Roundtable - IN PERSON
Registration includes seminar materials (in electronic format) and 3.0 CLE hours
Please note you are registering to attend in person at NCAJ Headquarters located at 701 Corporate Center Dr, Ste 450 Raleigh.
The passage of the Camp Lejeune Justice Act (CLJA), while a tremendous step forward for those harmed by Camp Lejeune’s contaminated water, has also brought about more questions than answers.
Unlike other cases where the playbook has been tested and refined, the CLJA interjected confusion and layered uncertainty for attorneys and their clients alike. Several continuing legal education courses have been offered to help attorneys with the bigger picture issues involved in litigating CLJA cases, but there remains a gap over the nuts-and-bolts.
The North Carolina Advocates for Justice is hosting a series of CLJA in-person roundtable discussions designed to address this gap. Each roundtable discussion will be limited in attendance to foster open and candid conversations regarding questions and challenges in litigating CLJA cases. Topics will be selected in advance and moderated, but the content itself will be supplied by the dynamic conversation of the attendees. The goal of each roundtable discussion will be to learn from one another, share information, and build each other up to better serve CLJA clients.
